Maharashtrian Bridal Attire.

A maharashtrian wedding takes place in a very simple, elegant  and in graceful manner not like in North Indian’s wedding. Maharashtrian bride does a shola Singar on her wedding. Brides wear a gorgeous Paithani Silk Saree with a Golden border. Draping the saree in a exceptional way. Yellow, green, red and purple considered as a sacred for Maharashtrian brides.

Punjabi Bridal Attire.

A Punjabi wedding will take place in a lavish, cheerful and most affluent manner. Punjabi bride wear a Lehnga, or a Salwar Kameez with exotic phulkari designs. The traditional outfit is Patiala style Salwaar- Kameez with a embroidered dupaata which would cover the head.  Bridal dress is usually in the shades of red with a lot of ornaments embroidered with sequence.

Gujarati Bridal Attire.

Gujarati wedding dress is colorful and has a lot of glass, beads and embroidery work . The fun loving Gujrati’s have their wedding take place in a traditional way with rituals symbolizes that stamp their Gujarati culture. Gujarati bride keeps their make-up simple because it enhances their feature. There are two types of sarees that a Gujarati bride wears. One is Panetar and another one is Ghorchala. Panetar is a pure white with a lot of red and green colours patterns.

South Indian Bridal Attire.

From North to South, East to West each states or region has its own story or way of celebrating the culture. South Indian wedding’s like many other weddings start off with the auspicious Ganpati- Puja. South Indian Brides generally prefer to wear heavy Kanjeevaram silk.
